What does it even feel like?

Can somebody please tell me what a Braxton hick contraction feels like? Is it painful or just pressure?? Is it the same type of feeling when you're in labor? I don't remember having any when pregnant with my first.

Feels like your abs are flexing. It's like a tightening feeling. I don't think they are painful.

Uncomfortable but not painful, with my first pregnancy they started about 26weeks, your stomach just tightens for about 30seconds, but very randomly

It feels like a contraction that usually lasts about 30 seconds. .basically,  it's a small rehearsal for the real thing.

It's the uterus tightening and becoming really hard, but it isnt supposed to hurt (i got told). So basically your tummy becomes hard and tight for 30sec- 1 min and it can be uncomfortable but it's not painful. If it's painful it could be contractions. :) hope this helps

Not at severe as labor but I had some that brought me to my knees.  So they can get pretty bad
