lingerie!!!

what age is it acceptable to wear lingerie for your partner. I'm 17 and i feel like its kinda weird if i did wear it. I've been with my boyfriend for about a year and a half and sometimes i go into VS and try on lingerie just for fun with my friends and ill send him pictures of me in it and he'll think it's hot and say how if i wore that with him it would turn him on and stuff but I don't want people to judge me if they see me buying it. also lingerie is kinda expensive and i feel like im too young to be spending money on something like that.
