Period

I'm usually a very heavy bleeder. Thursday is when my period was suppose to start, and we'll it did but it was just spotting, I didn't think much of it cause sometimes I start off spotting. But it's now Tuesday and the spotting hasn't stopped. I have not had to use a pad, just a liner and it's pretty concerning this has never happened before. Has this happened to anyone?
