Birth Story!

I posted on may 16 when my water broke I had woken up and stood up to go use the bathroom and had a huge gush. I was scheduled for induction on Thursday at 39 weeks but she was ready Monday! When my water broke I sat down on the toilet after and wiped and it was super yellow thick discharge so I thought it was maybe not my water so I put a pad on and the gushing/discharge continued. It ended up being meconium in my water. I got to ob triage and they admitted me right away. started antibiotics for group b strep and they had to start Pitocin because they wanted the baby out fast because my blood pressure shot up which was normally fine then babys heart rate started to dip. Turns out she had the cord wrapped twice around her neck. Well she was in a hurry and I got my epi at 6cm and went quickly to a 10 pushed for 10 min. being almost completely numb and she came right out! She was 8.5 lbs but didn't feel any bigger than pushing out my 6.11 lb pound daughter. I'm so in love she is gorgeous!!
