Stripping membranes?

FTM here and wondering if stripping your membranes worked to induce labor? (Yes I know baby will come when baby is ready) just want stories on if it worked or didn't. Thanks!

It didn't work for me with my son or daughter. However, I have heard of it working for other women, so I'm not opposed to trying it again this time around.

I had this done with my son at 39 wks and was 3cm dilated he didn't come straight away he came a week after. I believe it helped the process though. I am currently 38wks & will have this next week at 39wks. Will keep you all posted.

My friend had it done. She was already 3 cm dilated though. She had her baby the next morning. I believe her baby came 2 weeks early.

I just had it done about an hour ago so I will let you know how it goes. I'm cramping a lot so somethings happening.
