I kept mine. My first son's "dad" raped me and I got pregnant. I don't regret my decision. He's a very smart boy. Great musician (plays violin). And he's a great big brother to his siblings. He doesn't know about how he was conceived and never will. He's a blessing to have.

I'd probably go for adoption, but  I couldn't even imagine being in that position.

I was raped from ages 13-16, thought I was pregnant. If I had been (I wasn't), I would have tried to terminate because my body and mine couldn't handle the tolls of pregnancy at those ages.

Now that I'm older, if - God forbid - I was raped again and pregnant from it, I would keep the baby.

That being said, rape recovery is hard enough as it is without a baby in tow.

I personally would not be able to carry that baby. I've actually read a lot of research that has looked at both sides (psych degree) and there are women who love their child and could not imagine their life without them. However there are women who have kept the child, and face custody battles with their rapist over the child. As well as women who report trying their best to love the child, but just can't. 
Either way, it's not mine or anyone else's place to judge.

My ex was conceived from a rape. All I can say is if that happens don't tell the kid. It royally screwed him up. After we broke up he tried to rape me. I punched him in the face and he got off me. After he left he emailed me and said he was sorry but he justified it because that's how he was brought in this world.

I would not terminate. A child is a blessing and after a traumatic event like that, I'd consider the baby something like a rainbow after a horrible storm. ☺️

My friend was raped outside of a bar, she got pregnant and kept the baby..it wasn't easy to deal with the traumatic event, but her son is her blessing. I would never judge a woman for terminating a pregnancy bc of rape.
