Charlie horses ?

I'm 24 weeks and for the past week or so I've been waking up in the middle of the night with charlie horses in my calf! (In between both legs but never at the same time).
My mom says bananas help but I haven't seen a difference, anyone else with this and what have you been doing to help?

Try to stretch your foot upwards like towards your shin when you feel one coming, that always helps me.

I've just entered the 3rd trimester and have them as well. I find stretching before bed helps. When one strikes in the middle of the night I get up and stand on the cold tile in the bathroom
 Makes it go away immediately. These spasms/cramps are pretty much normal during pregnancy due to the fluid retention, hormones, weight gain, etc etc.

Bananas definitely helped me. I started getting them during my second trimester, they are horrible!

Magnesium, calcium, and potassium are all things your body is lacking and would be why you're getting them. Milk, potatoes, avocado, bananas are only some of the foods you can consume to replenish them. Keep in mind it takes up to 3 days for your body to show a sign of it absorbing them.
