Relationship advice?

I understand that my boyfriend needs alone time his friends, but he doesn't seem to bring me along with him often enough. He'll usually tell me "I'm gonna go hang out with so-and-so." and then leave, even if it's someone I've never met before or haven't heard of. And a few days ago he told me he's going to a party with one of his friends, and it really bothered me that he didn't even ask if I'd be interested in going with him. It wasn't an exclusive event or anything like that either, just a really small and casual house party with mostly strangers.

Am I overreacting? Or does stuff like this bother you too?

Why won't he invite you? That's just rude.. If he wants a single life he should look for it.

No, you're not over reacting in my opinion.  But, I will tell you that if he does this now he will probably continue to go out by himself. So, if you don't like it, talk to him and if it doesnt change soon reconsider the relationship.

In my opinion he shouldn't go to parties without you where drinking is involved. That's a rule with my boyfriend and I..kinda. That is just weird I would be upset that he doesn't bring your around

Can understand why it may upset. You might be asking yourself.. Why doesn't he want me to go? But...Some men need more alone time than others. And from what I've learnt, they don't always think about the situation as deeply as girls when it comes to choosing to spend time with their friends or their girlfriend (or both). Just talk to him about it... Get his perspective on it without getting upset and let him know how you feel. He might not even be aware that you want to go with him? Maybe he thinks you're not interests because you don't know his friends? Or maybe he does want to have some separation between his friends and his relationship. In my opinion now, there's nothing wrong with that (however it used to bother me a lot in my previous relationship so I get you). It's hard to say as we don't know your relationship like you do. However, ask yourself also - are you living your life for yourself too? :) Make sure you do things for yourself and keep yourself occupied with your own friends, so you're not always just worrying about your relationship all the time. But if you have not yet asked him if you can go with him or shown interest maybe he just does not know :)
