How long did it take you to conceive?

Hi everyone, my AF came today :(
This will be my 6 month trying and still nothing! 
Just wondering how long it has taken you if you already have children?

I know everyone's different but I'm just curious.

I'm really not sure which group to put this in, so I've put it in a couple.

My husband and I have been TTC#1 for more than two years. No luck yet! Keep your hopes high and don't let negativity to get on you.

It took me 9 months. Honestly just don't think about it .. It'll happen when you least expect it ❤️ trust me those 9 months were long, depressing and stressful and as soon as I said f it and just had sex for fun instead of it being a chore it happened. Just have faith 💟

I stopped birth control and we just let nature take its course and within 5 mi this we were pregnant. We did not track anything, I wasn't watching when glow predicted my high fertile times. We ended up losing that one in January at 5w5d. Just got my bfp this week after actively trying this time (only using the app, not opks, no bbt tracking) for about 3 months. I had been doing my logs every day and decided that I was going to stop and just let whatever happens happen. Well it happened and I'm 5w1d now. It's normal for it to take healthy couples a year to conceive, just stay positive and try not to stress (I know, easier said than done!). What I did this cycle when we conceived was have sex every other day starting from about 3 days before the predicted fertile week and continued until about 3 days after, that way if it was off a bit we were covered 😊😊 good luck and baby dust to you!! ✨🙏🏼✨🙏🏼✨

It took one month for my husband and I but I used glow and over the counter ovulation tests. I ovulate at weird times and never regularly so I bought twice as many ovulation kits and tested my ovulation every morning starting the day after my period. I'm glad I did because I ovulated a week after the glow app said was most likely. I think it was day 20 after the first day of my period that I ovulated. 
The ovulation tests can be expensive but it was totally worth it. It's very possible that you ovulate at different times of the month like I do.

My husband and I tried for a little over 12 months before finally getting our BFP last month. Sometimes it just takes a while. They say that if you're younger than 35, a year is a "normal" length of time to try before consulting your dr. Good luck
