New born baby cloths ??

How much actual new born baby cloths did your baby use before growing out of it.  ? Idk if I should buy more or not .

My daughter still wears newborn clithes at 8 week and she was born at 41weeks weighing 7lb6. In saying that I tend to rotate the same 4 bodysuits and 3 pairs of leggings. She has more obviously but these fit best and are easiest.

Don't listen to everyone that says don't buy newborn clothes. I did I had to go shopping today I got home from the hospital because my baby was smaller than expected and couldn't fit the 0 to 3 size. Do you need a million newborn clothes no, but definitely have a few days work. My baby was born at 6 pounds 1 ounce and at 9 weeks is just outgrowing his newborn clothes. If you're concerned about wasting money on newborn clothes buy them second-hand, they don't get a ton of use so most of the time they're in good shape and you don't spend a lot of money. But having to take your 4 day old clothes shopping because you don't have any clothes that fit them sucks.

We ended up having to buy premie clothes for our daughter because she came 4 weeks early. She is almost 3 months old and still fits in most newborn clothes. It's hard to really know unfortunately until the baby come and you know how big they are exactly.

It really depends. My baby was born a little early, at 37 weeks, and was small. Too big for preemie, to little for anything else. He wore newborn for almost 2 months!

It depends. We only bought a couple of newborn outfits, then he ended up being born 3 weeks early and we needed more than we thought (we bought Gerber 0-3 month onesies since those run small and he spent quite a bit of time in them. He is growing out of them now at 5 weeks. But every baby is different. Some skip NB all together.

I only washed the second hand newborn clothes just incase she's too big and can't wear the new ones I can still exchange them.

I wouldn't go too crazy on nb clothes every baby is so different my god daughter wore her nb clothes for about a month before they got to small and my god son was so big he skipped nb and went straight to 3-6 months. I would have a safe amount of nb but not a lot.
