Body Image

More and more I'm noticing girls on here posting about how important it is to love the body you're in and love yourself and so on. And while I 100% agree with that it only ever seems like the girls making those posts already have flat tummies or great butts/boobs etc. While it's awesome that ya'll love your bodies and are comfortable showing it off, it's not exactly super motivating to those of us with some squish around our tummies, or on our arms or thighs and all of that. I feel like it's easier to say "Love your body! Everyone is beautiful!" When you're pretty much already society's definition of what "beautiful" is. I may just be speaking for myself here, but when I see posts by you girls with the flat tummies telling me to love myself, it kind of has the opposite effect.
Now by all means, love your body! Love the skin you're in! Just know that it's not as easy to do so for girls who don't look like you. So hearing that, along with seeing a body that most of us realize may never be a reality for us to have, it can be somewhat discouraging.
Feel free to let me know your opinion on this. Maybe I'm alone? Maybe I'm not. Who knows. 🙃
