Breastfeeding probs
My daughter is 6 weeks old and has gotten pretty much exclusive breastmilk minus a couple ounces of formula when she was super fussy and acting hungry and I knew I had no milk left. I have tried to mostly breastfeed but alot of the time she will eat for about an hour and still seems unsatisfied and wants to eat again shortly after. She gets fussy at the boob, unlatching and crying, and I am thinking that the milk doesn't come out fast enough for her. She also falls asleep at the boob often. This past week I have started pumping more and giving her my milk in a bottle and she seems much more satisfied after. I am worried that the more I do this the lower my supply will go. I also feel sad and like a failure that breastfeeding isn't really working. I have thought about exclusively pumping but I am sick of being constantly hooked up to my pump 24/7. I am barely getting enough milk to keep her satisfied throughout the day! Today I felt like giving up breastfeeding altogether 😔. Any advice or tips?
