What would you think?? Please be honest but not mean!!

What would you think, if your SO didn't want you going to their work?

I asked my so last night if my son and I could come meet him for lunch sometime, and he said NO!!!

He's a manager,  and "runs endlessly" all day. (Or so he claims, even though I've caught him on some social media sights while he's at work) And claims he doesn't take a lunch, even though our bank account says differently.

Would you go despite his claims? And what would you think is your SO said this to you?

Okay, sounds to me like he is hiding something. Honestly, I would either ask him right out or call his work to talk to see if he is there. There shouldn't be any reason why he doesn't want you to visit his work.

I think there is a trust issue here that needs to be addressed. If you have doubts about anything, don't try to rationalize it in your head; put it on the table and get answers. I hope he isn't hiding anything from you.

Just ask him if everything is okay. So you noticed that he's been acting strange lately and your bank account says something different than what he says...just be open and talk to him. You have a child with him, and there is a certain level of trust that should go along with it.

Depends on where the bank statement says he has lunch. If it's a nice places and high bills then I'd make a fuss about it. If it's snack food or takeaway places then no.

I can't imagine why he wouldn't want you to come by his job, other than he has something he obviously doesn't want you to know about. My boyfriend is constantly busy in the office and also off  campus. He has never made me feel unwelcome to stop by uninvited. He actually encourages me and my daughter to stop by or have lunch with him. If I was you I would plan to make a unexpected visit. Your his wife, there should be no secrets. You should never have to give explanations for visiting your husband at work. It sounds like he has some explaining to do. Don't stress yourself out over what could be going on. Stop by his job when he doesn't expect it. If he isn't there it gives you the opportunity to meet and maybe speak with the ppl he works with. You should be able to pick up on anything that seems fishy to you. Good luck! Listen to your intuition.

My manager runs to McDonald's or something but eats at his desk.. he's all over the place all day long as well. Depends where ur SO works, I work at a collision center so we're always busy. I wouldn't look into it too much.. wish I could b more help

If you don't have another reason to doubt him not wanting you there I wouldn't worry. He is probably super busy and is one of those who eat by his desk. And gong to social media is normal. It's impossible to focus non stop at work, even when you are busy and social media has become our thing to do when we need a little break.

I'm in retail management and often have days where I have to work even while clocked out for lunch. I don't get to leave the premises during my lunch but if someone else is going to get lunch from a restaurant, sometimes I'll send my debit card for them to get me sonethibg too.
