What's safe to take ?!

Hi ladies ... Does anyone have the list or know what's safe to take for sinus/cold symptoms ?! My doc office does not have a 24 hr nurse line to call ... And I can't find my list of approved meds ... NEED RELIEF !!!

I was told not to take sudafed, but approved were mucinex, Benadryl, nasal saline, delsym. Good luck!

Best just to call your dr. Each recommends different things.  Mine says Sudafed  tablets, afrin (at night), Tylenol cold, Tylenol cough, Tylenol sinus, zyrtec, clarintin, allegra, robitussin DM, benadryl.

And Tylenol cold meds are ok and sudafed. I've been taking Claritin for my allergies. I thought I kept getting colds, but it was really allergies and then I developed a horrible sinus infection from it.

Try a hot shower?  That always helps me when  I'm stuffy or headachey.  It's not perfect relief but it's risk free until you can talk to your doctor.

This came off the app my dr recommended.....Zyrtec and Benadryl is safe for allergies.

The pharmacist told me the only things he could recommend were Tylenol and Sudafed. But when I talked to my nurse she told me Allegra was ok. But she also said if I could avoid taking anything it would be better.
