Showering before & after sex?

Question

Initially I started showering both before AND after sex because a urologist recommended this - I've been getting recurrent UTIs. 
Now I could never go back to showering only before sex. I wouldn't feel clean!
Just want to see how many others do the same?

I shower before, and then I'll shower the next day before work like I would normally.

I mainly have sex at night with my guy so if we are out all day I don't normally shower before sex. But if I notice I'm not that fresh I will shower. And I hardly shower after just use the restroom and clean up a bit.

I get UTI quite a lot, mostly if I don't pee after sex or I have a tere down there whilst having sex. He also has to be careful what he touches with his private parts. Make sure you're not dry down there as well. I hate UTI so much, since I have been doing my things regular it's been a while since I've suffered x

I'll only shower right after if I'm going out otherwise neither. I just clean myself up good & go about my regular routine. I've never had a UTI.
