Is it safe to sleep on right side??

I keep seeing on Google that its not safe to sleep on your right side due to compressing a vein and restricting blood flow to you and baby but I see some women on here doing it and this is my first pregnancy. So I was just wondering if it was safe or if your doctor has told you not to do so??

Completely safe. Sleep however you're comfortable. Your body will let you know if you shouldnt sleep in a certain position.

Lmbo, the main vein from your heart to your leg is on the left side,  it provides your baby with all the oxygen it needs. They say sleeping on the right restricts that.  But shoot I can only sleep on my right side,  and my babies were born just fine

I fall asleep on my right side and every doctor appointment I go to they say the babies fine and I have a checkup every 2 weeks because I'm high risk !!!

Okay thank you. I'm right at 24 weeks and I didn't wanna risk hurting him so I've just been sleeping on my left and its gotten uncomfortable mostly BC I'm tired of that position

I was so concerned about that too! So I asked my doctor at my appointment on Thursday and they said right side is fine. They just don't want me lying on my back. I said, so I'm not restricting blood flow or anything like I've read? They said no, you'd only do so on your back. Enjoy zzzzzzz 😊

I've never heard about the right side. Only the back because that can restrict blood flow but only when you're like 18+ weeks.  Sides and stomach are fine as far as I know. I actually heard sleeping on your left side can prevent varicose veins.

I sleep on my right side or on my back every night. Honestly I never sleep on my left side, it's just not comfortable

I only heard about sleeping on your sides only but i did came accross that and had me guessing for a bit but since my dr didn't say which side im guessing its totally fine.
