How many ultrasounds in a low risk/very healthy pregnancy?

I've only had one ultrasound at 18 weeks and I'm 30 weeks now.  Everything about my pregnancy has been low risk, textbook sort of stuff but I'm wondering if other ppl have this few ultrasounds? I'll ask at my apt today but don't they need to peek in there again sometime soon??

Actually ultrasound is never necessary for a healthy normal pregnancy and should only be used when medically indicated. Most providers will do at least one around 20w, but if you haven't had more, that just means things are going great!

I had one around 8 weeks to confirm the pregnancy, my anatomy scan at 20 weeks and no talk of having another one. I'm almost 33 weeks. I just assume it means all is well 💗

I had 2 and the 2nd was only because the 1st time one of the views they needed was obstructed so they needed me to go back to get a 2nd look.

I had my dating one, then one because they couldn't find a heartbeat, then the anatomy scan, and lastly one at a specialist because they found issues on her anatomy scan. I'm 34 weeks and there is no plan of having another one. Most woman only have one or two... Look at it as a good thing. :)

I've only had 2 u/s, one to confirm my pregnancy and the second for the anatomy at 20weeks. Also, I think it would depend on your doc office or insurance. I only had one u/s for my daughter with only one freaking pic and for this baby I have plenty of pics from just 2 u/s. But the less ultrasounds usually mean baby is pretty healthy and nothing to worry about!

I've only had two. One at 13 weeks and the anatomy scan at 18 weeks. I'm now 31.

I had 4 all the way up to 20 weeks. My last one will be almost at 33 on this Thursday.  So a total of 5. I have Aetna insurance

With my daughter I only had one at 18 weeks. Everything was normal and low risk. It may also depend on what insurance you have.

In the U.K. you get one at 12 weeks and another at 20! That's it!

Dang I'm kind of disappointed! I've heard they can tell where she is and whether she is breech just by feeling my stomach but I thought they might take a look w the US.... Just have to be patient I guess! 10 weeks to go.
