Can you ovulate for more than a day?

I'm asking this because I took an ovulation test yesterday and there were 2 LH surge lines & my app predicted that I did and today I took another test & same result. I know cycle apps aren't that reliable but I just wanted to ask.

You can get a false surge on an opk and not actually ovulate but the only way to ovulate twice in one month is when it happens within 24 hours of each other this is how fraternal twins are made

You ovulate once but the surge can last 12-24 hours.

Opks just detect the hormone surge that leads up to ovulation so you can get positives for a couple days...it doesn't tell you that you for sure ovulated/will ovulate but it's a good indicator that you will ovulate soon.
