Baby's weight: 7.6 lbs

Time of birth: 11:11pm

Contractions started just before 6am. Had bloody show soon after.Contractions varied from 7mins to 20mins apart for hours. Went to shops to get some clary sage to help things along. Lost fresh blood at 5pm with a clot so made way to hospital. Car broke down on the way!! Policeman stopped and gave us a lift! Got to hospital where the most amazing room was set up with birthing pool, candles, aromatherapy oils and calming music. I had been doing hypnobirthing so with the room set up like this, I found it easy enough to stay in a calm state. Started off on tens machine then went to gas and air. When established, got in birthing pool and she was born soon after at 11.11pm! It was the most amazing feeling when she put on me and I couldn't stop saying how beautiful she was! As soon as I got out the pool my placenta literally fell out with a splat!! 🙈
