Question

When do you start to dialate? When you dialate is labor coming soon? Should I be weary of my normal activities now, like walking long distances and swimming?  I'm 34 weeks and 1cm. Please don't judge...

You can stay 1 cm for the longest time some people stay that way for a month or so before they deliver and still have to be induced so it's no guarantee that labor will be anywhere soon. Sorry

You can dialate and not be in labor. 1 inch is nothing to worry about and you can stay there for weeks. As long as your doctor hasn't advised you to change your daily routine or activity level, you're fine to continue on as normal.
