False positives are practically unheard of. I can't imagine an anxiety medication would cause a false positive. Typically you get a false positive with certain types of cancer and when you have a chemical pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you!!
Needing confirmation
I just got a positive pregnancy test over the weekend which I'm very excited but I still have to do a blood draw later this week to confirm. I was told certain medications can cause false positive urine pregnancy tests. Im taking buspirone (buspar). There's not much literature about this occurring when I googled. I'm still soooooo nervous. If any one has any info to ease my mind I am open to it.

I don't know anything about the medications, but I'm also anxious about my appointment to confirm my BFP! I took three different tests on Saturday, all positive. Retested today and still positive. My appointment is next week and I can't wait!
