Mayo?

Question

Who is still eating mayo? I made egg salad and then was worried about it not being safe to eat. I called Hellmann's and they told me it was pasteurized.

If you're really worried Just Mayo doesn't have eggs at all (or soy which is why I buy it) and it tastes really good! I have to buy it at Whole Foods though. I'd think as long as you're storing your mayo properly and it's not expired you have little to worry about.

I even still make my own mayo. Lion stamped eggs in the UK means the hens are vaccinated against salmonella so safe to eat raw.
