Would you stay with your husband if he went to prison for murder?

I'm watching "Prison Wives" on Discovery Fit & Health. There's a woman whose husband is in prison for life for murder. She is fighting to get him an appeal and to get his sperm for artificial insemination so she can have a child with him. 
I think she's insane and needs to move on. What do you think? What would you do?
