Anyone else not doing a nursery right away?

Everyone's doing these glam nurseries. I'm not doing anything because we'll be moving a couple months after she's born. Trying to stay optimistic and not be frustrated. Like, a positive is that there's no work that I need to do now hahha, if we were staying I know I'd be working on it every weekend.

My first born is the only one of my kids to have a "nursery" and she didn't even sleep in it til she was 8 months old.

I had the nursery ready with my first and did not uses it at all until he was 3 months old and slept in his crib. No rush for me with nursery #2.

We live in a one bedroom apt and are hoping to move before she arrives but if not what can you do. She will be sleeping with us/in our room until about 6 months anyway so I'm not worried about it. Yes it would be ideal to have a nursery but it's not necessary. That is a very westernized way of thinking. Most other countries have the baby in the same room as the parents

I'm not either. I have to move and buy another place and the real estate market here is the worst in the global market at the moment. So far, renting is the best I can think of, or moving into my parents basement unit. And neither of those options are appealing to me at all. Moving in my third trimester (I'm short so I'm already bigger than in my wildest nightmares at 6 months) or moving with a new born are both really hideous ideas to me. Ugh!

I'm not doing one! And won't be until we move in a few months but I'm not going all out just crib dresser cute bedding and maybe a few pics on wall

I know which room I'm doing and what I want it to look like, but I haven't started it. And don't feel a need to rush. Maybe after my shower I'll be more apt to want to put things together. We don't have any furniture in there now so it's hard to decorate.

Anyone else not doing a nursery right away?
