They say if you have sex at least every other day in your fertile window you have a good possibility of sperm being there when your egg drops because sperm can live for 2-5 days whereas you have 12-24 hours with your egg. Having sex every day doesn't up your chances any more than every other day but once you figure out when you ovulate my GYN says you should have sex that day and the day after.

Oh and the answer is 100% no that is untrue. You can have sex every day twice a day standing on your head and the chances will never to a 100% conceive rate.
