How long should a week old baby nurse for?

I feel that my baby doesn't nurse long enough. Just wondering how long everyone else's babies nurse for.

My baby is 3 weeks and total time between giving both breasts, burping, and changing her it takes about an hour. She's probably at each breast for about 20-25 minutes.

I'm guessing all babies are different. We tend to go 15 minutes one side, burp and nappy change then 10 minutes the other side. 
But as long as you get regular wet nappies I would worry about it.

I also thought my baby wasn't nursing for long enough until I took a breastfeeding class. They weighed him before and after feeding to see how much he ate. He nursed for like 8 minutes one side and was done-weighed him and he had eaten 5 oz. babies are good at self-regulating. Try to trust he is getting what he needs!

How long is it till your baby wants to eat again after you nurse??

Mine nursed for very random amounts at that age. Sometimes five minutes, sometimes forty. Just offer the breast often and as long as you're getting plenty of wet diapers, don't worry too much.
