Need some help guys

What color cabinets would go with this color wall? It's an Adobe clay color. I prefer darker walls but I am painting this for my mom and she wanted a lighter color. She thinks the cabinents should be darker as we tried a light sand color and it was a no go lol I plan on painting that purple strip as well.
