Positive pregnancy test?! Ovarian cyst

Can a ovarian cyst cause a false positive? I missed my period and I don't know what to believe right now. The insert in the pregnancy test box says that ovarian cysts can cause misleading results.

That pretty dark I would say most likely your pregnant. Call your doctor to have it confirmed. I've never heard of a cyst causing a false positive. Maybe a false negative?

Hmm never heard of that? Have u tested before this with this particular brand though? Maybe just call ur doctor & ask for blood work .. I have had cysts before but never got + on test
