Postpartum sex?

For all my mommas that already have children, how bad was postpartum sex for you? I've heard answers ranging from "just a little pressure and not bad at all" to "it was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life" so I'm wondering what the majority of your experiences were.

I had a ten pound baby, an episiotomy, and 40+ stitches to repair me. Post partum sex was extremely painful for months.

For me it was bad! I only had a couple stitches,  but I am sure I got the "husband stitch". Sex still hurts sometimes (just entering because of the extra stitch) and my son is almost 2. :'(

I had a csection and the first time was awesome. I had no issues with it. He had to do all the work because I was still sore where I had been cut open but everything was awesome.

For the first couple of times it wasn't comfortable. Like someone else said it really depends on how you deliver and if you needed stitches. I my case I needed quite a few so they told me it wouldn't feel good for a while.

I delivered my son through emergency c section. On average you bleed for 6 weeks after you have a baby, my bleeding stemmed off about 3.5/4 weeks and we tried it then. It was sore but it wasn't excrutiating. More like I'd not had sex in a while which obviously I hadn't.

The more you do it the better it gets. But if you deliver naturally and need stitches in can see it being a lot worse.

It doesn't last long ?

Really depends on if you deliver vaginally and need stitches. Those are what really cause the pain during post-partum sex
