"I'm like this because...."
Do you think people who use their upbringing as a reason for being a bad person are right to do so?
Example:
I've had a hard home life, my mom left me to live with my grandmother so I can't go to school.
Personally I think if you have the will to overcome it, you can succeed. You have people who were drug babies, abused to the point of almost death, pushing themselves through college and to a better life. I think it's an easy excuse to not have to try. You've let your past make you.
Also, I'm not trying to victim blame. It is terrible to go through any of this and it takes soooo much dedication and motivation to do things like this.
