I want to change my name.
But I don't want to hurt my mother. She's easily hurt but I just hate my name I don't feel like a Jasmine. It makes me feel like she named me after a stripper. She was a stripper and they all had stage names after flowers or animals. I'm uncomfortable with my name and I don't know how to tell her I want to change it.
