What should I do?

My boyfriend tells me today that he needs help.... Go to rehab and get help for his addiction to pills (this I didn't even know about). This being a total surprise to me and the fact that I love him so much and can't believe that he would have lied to me for so long I am torn between my emotions and would like advice on what I should do....

Coming from a recovering addict myself,  unfortunately it's very easy for us to hide but if you love him what he needs now is you.  He came to you in what sounds like to me a cry for help. Don't enable him but do support him:)

If you love him stay. Just make sure you tell him he stays clean or you leave.

What? I cannot believe anyone would think you should stay. You just said he's been hiding this from you. How could you be in a relationship with someone who lies? Not to mention an addict. There are too many wonderful guys in the world. If you value yourself, wait on one who's worth it.

Stay support him but let him know where he stands that u don't support his habit but u do the recovery. Make it clear to him that u r there but u won't stay if he don't get clean and help him

I give him major props for coming out and crying for help. That's the first step and he confided and trusted in you to go to you for help. So stick by his side.

Be a friend and help him get the help he needs. Although you're upset, this is something he could die from. At least give him the chance to fix himself and get better before you bail. You'll never forgive yourself if something bad were to happen.

Maybe be a friend to him to help him through the tough time but if he was lying to you about pills your relationship should be put on the back burner and needs major work once he is clean.
