Smoking while on pill?

is it bad to smoke while on the pill ?

Well it says right on the pill packet: not for women over 35 or women who smoke. The cardiovascular risk is much higher if you do. You may never have a problem, and someone who doesn't smoke might have a problem and you won't, but you're instantly taking yourself out of the "not likely to have a problem" group and putting yourself right in the "likely to have a problem" group. 
 
Please consider everything before you make this choice. Talk to your doctor or call planned parenthood or something. It's different for every single person so you can't really rely on the advice of others.
