We are expecting soon.. Is a one bedroom apartment enough for a baby or should we look for a 2bedroom?

OMG I use to share a room with my older son. For 2 years it's fine when they are babies but I feel like kids need their own space. You don't want them to get use to sleeping with you it becomes a bad habit and the longer you wait the harder it is going to be to make them stop sleeping with you . Becomes over crowded . Adults well at least if your taken need their privacy . It's very hard to get that if you share a room. Me and my husband moved from a 1 bed to a 2 bed we have two kids and they share a room.

Do a one bedroom for the first year or two, save the money, and then look for a bigger place.

I had a one bedroom apt with my first for her first year! I made the dining room her room!  It roomy enough but we got a 2,2 apt in the same complex when she was 1-2 now we have a house!  They get more and more stuff or at least ours did! Lol She's 4 1/2 now and we're pregnant with #2! But one bedroom will be fine for a while!

One bedroom is plenty until baby reaches 1 we did that with our son and it was great

I think a 1 bedroom should be fine with a baby. Once you reach the 1 year mark I would definitely look for something bigger.

We did one bedroom when DD was born, but we also did (safe) co-sleeping. We got a bigger apartment when she was about 10 months.
