Swimming post partum?

Im 5weeks pp (vaginal birth). do you think its okay for me to swim in a public pool??

I wouldn't until after 6 week postpartum appt when dr checked to make sure you healed well

Not until the doc gives the okay. I am dying to get in our pool but need the okay at my 6 week appointment. Doc checks to make sure the cervix is closed or you will fill up your uterus with water and can get an infection.
