When will you let your newborn outside ?

I won't be taking my newborn son outside until he is about a month old

We took our newborn twins to the store the day we took them home from the hospital. So... Two days old. I'm all about building immune systems in children. I was the same way with my first son and he has only gotten sick twice in his three and a half years of life

We started to go out by a week. Fresh air is amazing for them!

We took our oldest out to the store on the way home from the hospital and started taking walks around our neighborhood as soon as I felt up to walking. He also went to church at 4 days old and was baptized at 6 weeks.

My second was a preemie, so he didn't go outside until he was discharged a month later. But we also took him to church right away and he was baptized at 2 months. We only quarantined him during flu season and then we went outside a lot, but not to public places.

The day we get home and everyday after that. I'm having a September baby so I want to be out as much as possible before we are stuck inside for a long cold winter

As soon as we were home, 2-3 days old. My son had some light jaundice and it was recommended to sit him out in indirect sunlight to clear it up.

I voted not all all because I didn't see no choice I'd pick but it really just depends on my recovery after birth and how I'm feeling so I can't say for sure yet' plus it'll be cold when my baby girl gets here so it won't be that often either

We went shopping the day after we left the hospital so 2 days after i gave birth, does good for mommy and baby 😊
