Found out I'm pregnant now what??

Took a hpt and it came out positive. I obviously need to go to a doctor but is it ok if I wait till next week to go to the doctor or should I go asap?

While you wait to set up an appointment make sure to get all your insurance stuff in order.. If you have some all ready check and make sure that what's going on is covered in your insurance plan if not change it up. And if you don't have insurance make sure to get some, babies are expensive! Lol

A lot of doctors won't even schedule you until you are at least a week late

I'd call soon, but they probably won't set your appointment until 8+ weeks gestation.

I didn't get scheduled until I was 10 weeks anyways so it's fine to wait a little bit. Just make sure you're taking your prenatal vitamins.

I had to wait a week before I went to the doctors don't stress, you'll be out of the doctors quick they'll just ask when your last period was and may confirm it. Then you'll choose a gyno/midwife to see for your next appointment which will be another few weeks away. The waiting is hard but everything will be fine and stressing won't help, good luck and congratulations :-) xx
