Blood tests to check hormone levels?

So I'm one of the unfortunate ones who experiences a period on average every 2 months. (Approx 7-8weeks) I have had several blood tests to check my hormone levels. These have come back clear/normal. what does that even mean? Could there still be some underline problem as to why my periods are so far apart?
