Any natural birth stories ??

Question

I have to have a natural birth because I do not qualify for an e because my back injury which sucks and it's my first delivery so I would like to know how a natural feels and things to try in labor ??  Any help

I had a natural labor/birth with my third baby and wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Don't get me wrong, it hurt like hell but recovery was so easy. One thing that stood out the most as far as pain goes is when the baby is crowning the feeling is known as "the ring of fire" and man was that so true it felt like my vag was on fire being ripped...but I heard it's not bad if you do a water birth so I wish I would've done it that way it just happened to fast

I broke my back when I was 19 and I couldn't get an epidural and on top of that I had to have pitocin because my water broke and I wasn't contracting despite everything I tried and I had back labor. Every contraction felt like my uterus was going to explode! My advise move around and find a comfy spot. Mine was on the toilet. Get in the shower and breathe! Don't worry about anything but yourself. I'm glad we didn't tell anyone I was in labor because I was able to focus on myself 100%. Like some one else said that moaning like a wounded animal actually really helps! And remember it ends. For me pitocin to pushing was 2.5hrs and pushing was 20mins. You can do it!!

My god mother did it twice with 9lb+ babies! She said what helped her the most was moaning. Low and long kinda like a whale. Lol.

A friend just gave me the best advice I've received yet. Look at the pain as progress. It'll help keep keep you positive. The worse the pain is, the closer it is to being over and having your baby in your arms.

Ive never had a natural labor so im not sure how it feels, ive always wanted to try it & im going to try with this pregnancy but i do knw that besides the epidural, there is other pain meds they put in your IV thats helps a little. Good luck momma.
