irregular fetal heartbeat

My husband and I noticed that our baby has developed an irregular heartbeat sometime yesterday (he is 24+3). Because we listen to him every evening, we are very familiar with his normal rhythm, we noticed what sounds like a "skipping" every 8-12ish beats- right away. It really freaked me out! I messaged my Dr and he said it is not uncommon to have babies develop an irregularity as the heart is growing. He said it also can, and does (usually) correct itself before birth. 

Have any of you experienced this before? Any suggestions or encouragement is so welcome. 

Also I would love prayers if you're the praying type. If you are please pray with me that his little heart forms perfectly and that his heart does not have irregularities in beats any longer, and that I would not worry every time I hear it! This whole making a baby thing is tough... Who knew there were so many things to worry about 😆
