C Section with Twins??

Question

I can't find any answers online, so can anyone tell me if the twins are taken out in order in a c section? Like, "Twin A" comes before "Twin B" or does it depend on their position at the time? Thank you!

Yes, usually. Baby A is closest to the cervix (that how they name them A and B) so A comes out first. The only exceptions that I know of is if baby B is in distress and needs to be delivered first or if their positions require it. Like if your babies were laying transverse, it may be easier to take B first. My baby A was breech but B was cephalic (head down). They were delivered via C section and A came 2 minutes before B :)
