3rd follicle ultrasound.
Tomorrow is my 3rd follicle check, and I'm DREADING even going to the RE's office. I was on 100mg of clomid CD3-7.
5/23(CD12) first u/s to see how the follicles were doing.
Right ovary-11mm.
Left ovary-11mm
Lining-9mm.
Was told to come back on Saturday to check again with the "follicles grow 1-2mm a day" speech.
Second u/s 5/28 (CD17)
Right ovary-13.5mm
Left ovary-9.5mm
Lining-12mm.
I was completely devastated on Saturday because my follicle barely grew at all (still negatives with opks) and one of the follicles got smaller.
My RE doesn't want to give up on this cycle because one did grow a bit.
Tomorrow I have another ultrasound to see if that 13.5mm is going to be a winner, or if we need to cancel out this cycle and try something else for next cycle.
Still no smiley on the opk, so I know I'm just wasting money going on for the follicle check tomorrow.
I'm not going to be able to do iui his cycle. I can already see that happening.
