I bow down to you.

Okay, so I'm 5w at the last week of the school year....and I'm seriously drained. I teach preschool, and my feet are swollen, my temper is not its normal pep, and I'm absolutely exhausted.
I seriously tip my hat off to any of you ladies that have been through this before. I feel so lucky it's the end of the year when I got pregnant, and I'm not returning this fall. I have no idea how some women teach throughout their pregnancy
Any tips on how to make it through this week? I'm concerned it's going to effect my little baby seed.
Thanks for being awesome!!

You can do it!!  I teach first grade and was pregnant this year from December through the end of year.  Finished the year at 28 weeks.  I was absolutely exhausted every day and had less patience than I've ever had, but I survived!  Just take one day at a time and REST as much as you can every evening.  You're almost there!  :)

lolI got pregnant in January so I went thru the entire second half of school being irritable and being bombarded with questions and touches.I'll be in the 3rd trimester when school starts again. THAT should be fun.

I got preg at the same time. Exhausted until May, then felt great all summer and came back in August at 32 weeks. Ew.

I was teaching preschool too until 38 weeks when I got to go to maternity leave, the last two weeks were horrible. I was pretty much useless. If i was pregnant again, I would work half days from 30 weeks and stop working at 36. I love my job (returned six weeks after birth because I missed input), but it was awful! The last week I basically always had my feet up on another chair or sat I the reading corner on the couch. (All my kids started using two chairs too - one for their butt, one for their feet), and I had maternity belt. That helped quite a bit against the horrible backache. Are you alone in your classroom?

Oh yeah, and the first weeks consisted of me sleeping. Take naps as long as you can - every day!!!

I'm 33 weeks and we aren't out until June 30! Every week gets harder... Swollen feet are the worst they are never decreases by the next day and by noon I need a nap but I'm hoping I can make it until the end of the year. My dr has suggested my going to half days for the last 2 weeks but I don't want ppl to think I am a wuss (because my staff is like that) 😤😖 I have no tips other than at this point I'm in survival mode! People have said "put your feet up" or "make sure you drink lots of water" or "sit when you can"... But I teach primary... Those suggestions are unrealistic for me! Lol

Though I wasn't happy then, I'm happy now that I "wasted" my MANY weeks of morning sickness working instead of for the summer. I teach 3rd grade and threw up from about 4.5 weeks until last week (25 weeks now). Luckily, it's summertime now and I'm not fighting it. I wish I had secrets to help you, but I don't. It kinda sucked trying to do it all.
