Glyburide not helpful?

My fasting numbers are always high. My Nutricionist and doctor prescribed Glyburide 1.25, without result. They increased to 2.50 and one only morning was good, 88 (limit 89). Now my fasting numbers are high again. I was wondering if I should ask for insulin or keep increasing Glyburide doses. I read Glyburide can be bad for the baby.

What is your experience? What should I do?

My personal opinion is insulin is so much easier to use for good control, during pregnancy it is sooo important to have your numbers consistent and on target

That's what they put me on. I started taking 5mg once a day then they upped it to twice a day. Went today and they upped it to 10mg twice a day. Go back next week and if it's not any better will be put on insulin.
