I'm 6 weeks and bleeding?

This is my first pregnancy, I'm out of town and have been spotting. Started light pink and now is red. Is this normal??

I was told by my doctor that spotting is normal in the 1st few wks of pregnancy. But still that isn't something we wanna hear!! He said if you fill a pad up with blood in one hr then go to th ER. Other than that it comes with the 1st trimester.hope that helps!

Did everything go okay?

I was bleeding at 7 weeks.
It was brown/red when I wiped.
Went to the E.R and it is a subchronioc hematoma.
That wasn't normal for me.
I'd get checked out.
They found it with a transvaginal ultrasound.

No that isn't normal, the light pink is but the fact its getting darker and heavier is not. Any pain?

I just got back from the doctors for this same reason. All is okay. I had two boughts of bright red bleeding and severe cramping and she said there is maybe a million reasons why it happened but it won't hurt baby. Always best to consult your medical care provider and they will be able to put your fears at ease :) not all bleeding is bad, not all cramps are bad.
