When to tell?

Just got my BFP Friday (5/27) and app says 4 wks and 2 days today. When should I start telling friends, family, and my boss? I'm like passing out at my desk and queasy until the afternoon when I'm inhaling everything I can find.

It's all personal preference.  I will be about 8-9 weeks when I go to my sisters wedding so I will use the opportunity to tell my family and relatives.  I'm sure my sister will appreciate me stealing her thunder!

I've told everyone because we suffered a loss in February.  I told so we can have prayers, and support, I don't believe in people wishing bad, they can try all they want but my Gods bigger.  I told because we wanted to celebrate our rainbow pregnancy!  Do what you feel is best ❤️

Congrats to you! I also got my bfp on Friday too! :) I agree everything is personal preference. I think once you think of how you want to tell them the news it makes when to tell them easier. I just told my family yesterday and it felt great, like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders

I've told more people that I originally want to. Both of our family's know. And a few co workers, and my 2 best friends. I feel really guilty though because I don't wanna jinx it. Some people say not to say a word until around 12 weeks, but others say, it's your baby, do as you please.

We told our families, my best friends, and a few other people out of necessity (we had friends come stay with us and I wasn't drinking- they knew immediately). I'm not worried about jinxing anything and I don't think miscarriages should be such a taboo topic. Come whatever may and hopefully it's a fully grown healthy happy baby! 😁
