Ex-Boyfriend
I just found out that my ex-boyfriend of ten months, who I spent ridiculous amounts of energy trying to make it work with and who ended up destroying my self-confidence, was ony ever with me to get close to one of my friends.
Jokes on him - that friend was my shoulder to cry on whenever he treated me like shit, which was a fairly often recurrence.
