What would you do?

I'm trying to decide what will work best for me & my son so we can move forward. I would really like to go back to school and get a part time job but most do not pay very well. I just got offered a 8-5 job that pays 15 an hour. This means being away from my 4 month old son and finding a baby sitter - plus little time for school. My short term goal at the moment is to save for an SUV & my not so long term goal is to save for a down payment on a house. Do you have any knowledge, advice or tips for a twenty year old looking to move forward?
