Last month a Chemical, feeling side effects again

I suffered a Chemical pregnancy on Mothers day last month, this month I'm having the same symptoms but have told myself to not test until I miss my cycle, if that happens. I am 4 days away and as much as I want to know, I don't want to know because I'm too afraid to be let down again. What is everyone's opinion on testing. Should I just let it be? I'm so scared to be let down again...
