Harmony test wrong ?

So I got the blood test done. My results came back that the baby is a boy. Today I went for an ultrasound at a 3D place. She says the private area should be pointing up but it's flat like a girl. The tech says she's almost sure it a girl but they don't do gender determinations until 14 weeks usually. Has anyone ever had the blood test be wrong for them ? I'm starting to second guess my OBGYN results.

I wouldn't trust an ultrasound that early.

The harmony test is right, because it tests for DNA. The ultrasound is wrong, because it's too early to tell until at LEAST 14 weeks. Go with the blood test. Cause it's a blood test. Congrats on your little boy. 💙

Both DNA testing and ultrasound can be wrong. But a DNA test is much much MUCH more accurate than an ultrasound, especially this early on.

My friend was told 'girl' by ultrasound and SURPRISE popped out a boy (this was just a couple yrs ago, so not dinosaur technology). It's easy to mistake a boy for a girl if their penis just hasn't fully developed yet. The Harmony test is 99% accurate. Congrats momma, I have 2 boys and love it!

14 weeks is way too early. The blood test is right. 99.999% accurate.  Trust the blood

Yes it can be. I heard of a few ppl that gender came back wrong with the test.
